A creative ad strategist and social video enthusiast walk into a bar. They fall in love… + they have you.

Hello!

Do you see narrative in numbers and stories in stats? Do you want your work to resonate with audiences and make a positive impact on the world? Are you happiest when you’re deep in a brainstorm one hour, and deep in ad performance data the next?

Well, well, well… it looks like you could be our next Performance Creative Alchemist.

But… what the fuck is a performance creative alchemist?

SO glad you asked. It’s part detective, part creative director.

You’ll spend your time:

  • Digging into the data – becoming best mates with the ad account, so you can uncover what’s working, what’s not, and why. You’ll turn those findings into razor-sharp insights that fuel our creative workstreams.
  • Ideating like a maniac – both solo and in team sprints. You’ll generate ideas that make clients say “holy f*ck yes” and editors say “this is gonna bang.” Sometimes, you'll lead the brainstorm. Sometimes, you'll be the wildcard that blows it open.
  • Shaping creative strategy – you’re the bridge between insight and execution. You’ll write briefs so clear they basically write themselves, and make sure what we produce connects emotionally and performs commercially.
  • Being the glue – you’ll check in with creators, and collaborate with our internal team to make sure everything stays on track and on budget.

Basically, you’ll make sure great ideas don’t just live in notion - they make it to the feed, and into people's brains.

Before we continue, it’s probably important for you to understand WHY we exist, right?

We believe in three things:

Belief 1: Social media, and the algorithms that govern them, is a weapon. A weapon that’s attacking our collective attention. We believe that if you understand how to take advantage of the link that social media has on society, you can drive any outcome - good or bad.

Belief 2: In 2026 and beyond - the ultimate differentiator in a world dictated by algorithms, is creativity. The right kind of content has the power to become an unfair advantage - it’s the key to move, inspire and galvanise.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Belief 3: The most pressing environmental and societal challenges are business opportunities in disguise. We believe in the power of human collaboration and entrepreneurship to make the world a better place.

Bright/Shift is the coming together of these three beliefs.

We exist to take advantage of the link that social media and digital channels have on society, in a way that triggers a positive change in the world, by helping give the businesses who deserve to win an unfair advantage.

We’re not a performance agency (they’re too focused on the data) We’re not a creative agency (they’re too focused on the art) We’re like a creative agency - but built for 2026.

The role

We’ve created this role from the ground up, and it’s just as unique as its name… If a creative strategist, account manager, and social video enthusiast has a naughty encounter - you’d be the offspring.

Sound interesting? Cool - here’s a little more of a deep dive:

Your core responsibilities

You’ll have the same expectations we have of ourselves: to think like an owner, act like a strategist, and create like a mad scientist. You won’t wait for a brief - you’ll help create it. You’ll own the ideation, briefing, and delivery of creative output for production-first clients (this is our fancy way of describing our clients who do regular production shoots with us)

  • Lead ideation workshops to turn insights into performance-focused concepts for shoots.
  • Create structured idea decks that excite clients and direct our production plan
  • Collaborate with the team on post-shoot asset workstreams – mapping formats, messaging, and test angles
  • Write clear, outcome-driven creative briefs for our editors and designers
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of creative workstreams from idea → brief → asset delivery
  • Ensure everything is delivered on time, and on brand
  • Own the feedback process: gather, filter, and action feedback efficiently
  • Be obsessed with quality: are the edits thumb-stopping? Are the hooks sharp? Are we actually saying something?
  • Manage and maintain relationships with freelancers and creators delivering content
  • Translate ad account data, audience insights, and performance learnings into smart, strategic creative direction
  • Bring calm, clarity, and energy to every phase of the sprint
