Overview

Our client, a major organisation within the automotive sector, is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Performance Manager to lead the commercial and operational performance of 17 parts distribution centres across London and the South of England.

Reporting to the National Performance Manager, you will be responsible for delivering regional turnover and profit objectives, improving operational standards and strengthening relationships across an investor-operated network. You will use performance data, commercial insight and hands-on leadership to drive growth, improve customer service and support consistent delivery across the region.

This is a highly visible and commercially focused role offering significant autonomy, broad stakeholder exposure and the opportunity to shape regional performance within a large and evolving automotive aftersales operation.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver regional sales, turnover and profit objectives across a network of 17 centres.
  • Lead the implementation of tactical and strategic performance plans across the region.
  • Agree, monitor and review monthly performance commitments and action plans with centre leadership teams.
  • Drive sales results from regional growth programmes, marketing campaigns and commercial initiatives.
  • Use reporting, operational data and performance insight to identify risks, opportunities and improvement priorities.
  • Hold centre teams accountable for agreed performance standards and corrective actions.
  • Ensure regional operations remain compliant, appropriately resourced and focused on delivering consistently high levels of customer service.
  • Build strong, credible relationships with investors, centre managers and wider network stakeholders.
  • Influence changes in business culture, leadership behaviours and people-management practices.
  • Identify, develop and share best practice to improve efficiency and commercial performance.
  • Work collaboratively with national sales, account management and support teams to maximise regional results.
  • Support the rollout and management of new growth initiatives, processes and commercial programmes.
  • Maintain a strong field presence and provide practical leadership across the regional network.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
