Regional Sales Performance Manager
Location: Field-based across London and the South of England
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Working pattern: Field-based, with at least 60% of working time spent visiting regional sites and attending head-office meetings as required

Overview
Our client, a major organisation within the automotive sector, is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Performance Manager to lead the commercial and operational performance of 17 parts distribution centres across London and the South of England.
Reporting to the National Performance Manager, you will be responsible for delivering regional turnover and profit objectives, improving operational standards and strengthening relationships across an investor-operated network. You will use performance data, commercial insight and hands-on leadership to drive growth, improve customer service and support consistent delivery across the region.
This is a highly visible and commercially focused role offering significant autonomy, broad stakeholder exposure and the opportunity to shape regional performance within a large and evolving automotive aftersales operation.
Responsibilities
- Deliver regional sales, turnover and profit objectives across a network of 17 centres.
- Lead the implementation of tactical and strategic performance plans across the region.
- Agree, monitor and review monthly performance commitments and action plans with centre leadership teams.
- Drive sales results from regional growth programmes, marketing campaigns and commercial initiatives.
- Use reporting, operational data and performance insight to identify risks, opportunities and improvement priorities.
- Hold centre teams accountable for agreed performance standards and corrective actions.
- Ensure regional operations remain compliant, appropriately resourced and focused on delivering consistently high levels of customer service.
- Build strong, credible relationships with investors, centre managers and wider network stakeholders.
- Influence changes in business culture, leadership behaviours and people-management practices.
- Identify, develop and share best practice to improve efficiency and commercial performance.
- Work collaboratively with national sales, account management and support teams to maximise regional results.
- Support the rollout and management of new growth initiatives, processes and commercial programmes.
- Maintain a strong field presence and provide practical leadership across the regional network.

Requirements
Essential
- A proven track record of managing operational or commercial performance across multiple sites, branches, territories or business units.
- Demonstrable experience delivering sales growth, profit improvement and measurable business results.
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to translate strategy into practical regional action plans.
- Experience using data, reporting and performance measures to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills.
- The ability to engage effectively with business owners, investors, senior leaders and operational teams.
- Experience leading change in business processes, behaviours or commercial mindset.
- A calm, credible and dependable leadership style.
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage a demanding field-based workload.
- Resilience and sound decision-making under pressure.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across London and the South of England.
Desirable
- Experience within automotive aftersales, parts distribution, wholesale, retail networks or franchise operations.
- Experience managing performance within an agency, investor-owned or partner-operated network.
- Knowledge of business-to-business sales and trade customer environments.
- Experience managing multi-site customer service, stock, warehouse or sales operations.
- Familiarity with regional growth programmes, marketing-led sales activity and commercial transformation.
