The Role
The Performance Marketing Executive is a data-driven and commercially minded individual who will play a key role in support across PPC, Paid Social, and Affiliates. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their performance marketing career who is eager to take ownership of live campaigns, develop their analytical capabilities, and deliver measurable results across a range of digital acquisition channels.
The role sits within our marketing and e-commerce function and works closely with the wider digital, content, and trading teams to ensure performance activity is aligned with commercial priorities and brand objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Paid Media & Digital Acquisition
- Support the management of paid search (PPC) and paid social campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads, and any additional channels within the media mix.
- Assist in the day-to-day optimisation of live campaigns — including bid management, audience refinement, ad copy testing, and budget pacing — to maximise return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Monitor campaign performance against agreed KPIs including cost per acquisition (CPA), click-through rate (CTR), conversion rate, and revenue attributed to paid channels.
- Contribute to the development of paid media briefs, working with the creative and content teams to ensure ad assets are on-brand, platform-appropriate, and optimised for performance.
- Support the management of retargeting and prospecting campaigns, ensuring audience segmentation and messaging is aligned with the customer journey.
- Stay current with platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging paid media formats, proactively sharing relevant insights with the wider team.
Affiliate Marketing & Partner Management
- Manage and optimise our affiliate programme across key networks including Awin, Rakuten, and any additional platforms relevant to our channel strategy.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop relationships with new affiliate and publisher partners — including voucher and cashback sites, content publishers, loyalty platforms, and influencer affiliates.
- Monitor affiliate partner performance on an ongoing basis, identifying top performers, underperforming partners, and opportunities to grow revenue through commission incentives or exclusive promotions.
- Negotiate placement opportunities, increased visibility, and preferential terms with affiliate partners to maximise brand exposure and return on investment.
- Manage commission structures, promotional codes, and seasonal incentives across the affiliate network, ensuring all activity is tracked accurately and paid correctly.
- Ensure all affiliate activity is brand-safe, compliant with ASA and CAP guidelines, and consistent with our wider marketing messaging and visual identity.
- Work closely with the e-commerce and trading teams to align affiliate promotions with key trading moments, new season launches, and sale periods.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
