Our Performance Marketing Executive is responsible for planning, executing, and optimising paid marketing campaigns across digital channels to drive measurable growth in traffic, leads, and revenue. This is a hands-on, data-driven role suited to someone who enjoys testing, analysing, and continuously improving campaign performance. This is a hybrid role suited to someone who enjoys the data-driven precision of paid advertising alongside the longer-term strategic thinking of SEO.

Key Role Responsibilities

  • End-to-end planning, forecasting, execution, and optimisation of paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and other paid platforms as required.
  • Assist in managing campaign budgets, bids, pacing, targeting, and audience segmentation to maximise ROI and achieve agreed KPIs including ROAS, CPA, and revenue targets.
  • Conduct keyword research, audience analysis, and competitor research to inform both paid advertising and SEO strategies.
  • Develop, brief, and test high-performing ad creative, copy, and landing page recommendations in collaboration with the creative and web teams.
  • Plan and execute A/B testing across ad creative, copy, audiences, bidding strategies, and landing pages to continuously improve campaign performance.
  • Monitor daily campaign performance, identifying opportunities to optimise spend, targeting, creative, and overall account performance.
  • Analyse campaign and website performance using tools such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other reporting platforms.
  • Within your team, produce regular performance reports and dashboards, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Manage tracking implementation and measurement, including UTM parameters, pixels, conversion tracking, and attribution, working closely with developers and analytics teams where required.
  • Develop and implement SEO strategies, including keyword targeting, on-page optimisation, technical SEO improvements, internal linking, and content recommendations.
  • Support technical SEO audits, working alongside development teams to improve site speed, crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals, and overall search performance.
  • Develop and support backlink and outreach strategies to improve domain authority and organic visibility.
  • Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, conversion performance, and overall SEO health, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support wider Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) initiatives to improve website performance and customer conversion.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, freelancers, and platform partners where required.
  • Stay up to date with platform developments, algorithm changes, industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging digital marketing opportunities.

  • 2–3 years' experience managing paid search/social campaigns and SEO (agency or in-house)
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Working knowledge of SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console)
  • Strong understanding of keyword research, on-page/technical SEO, and paid media fundamentals
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into recommendations
  • Excellent written communication skills (ad copy, reports, content briefs)
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets

Desirable Skills

  • Google Ads / Analytics certifications
  • Experience with tag management (GTM) and conversion tracking setup
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
  • Experience with CRO (conversion rate optimisation) and A/B testing tools
  • Familiarity with programmatic or display advertising

  • Comfortable managing multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously
  • Proactive communicator who works well cross-functionally
