Performance Marketing Lead

We're looking for a Performance Marketing Lead to own our performance engine entirely. We're solving a rare problem at Ffern: pairing world-class brand creative with rigorous, data-driven performance marketing at scale. We've grown over the last two years, powered by exceptionally crafted ad content and a performance engine that knows how to scale.

You'll take ownership of budgets across Meta and emerging channels, with the autonomy to build a team around you. You'll sit within a highly technical Growth team that runs product pods, conversion funnels, and lifecycle systems, reporting directly to the Head of Growth.

We've already built AI agents to automate creative testing — but you'll be expected to push this further: finding new ways to use AI and automation across campaign management, reporting, creative analysis, and workflow orchestration.

What you'll do

  • Own Ffern's paid acquisition channels end-to-end: strategy, execution, optimisation, and reporting — starting with Meta and expanding into Google, TikTok, and beyond.
  • Manage and scale eight-figure annual media budgets while maintaining strict unit economics targets across CPA, LTV:CAC, and payback period.
  • Lead channel diversification: identify, test, and scale new paid channels that unlock incremental spend at target efficiency.
  • Partner with the Ads team to build a tight creative-performance feedback loop: surfacing what's working, why, and what to make next.
  • Develop and own the measurement and attribution stack, ensuring we have clear, trustworthy data to make decisions from.
  • Build and maintain AI-powered workflows and automations across campaign launches, reporting, and creative analysis.
  • Contribute to Growth team strategy alongside pod leads for Conversion, Lifecycle, and Retention.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we need

Must haves:

  • 5+ years in performance marketing, or 3+ years in a senior D2C growth role, with deep hands-on expertise in Meta Ads at scale.
  • Experience managing eight-figure annual Meta budgets with accountability for efficiency targets — scaling spend profitably, not just maintaining it.
  • You attribute signups and growth using first-party data outside of the ad platforms.
  • Experience working closely with creative teams, with the ability to translate performance data into actionable creative briefs.
  • You've automated campaign management using LLMs, automation platforms, and AI agents — and you're excited to keep pushing.
  • Data-driven and commercially sharp — comfortable with CPA, LTV:CAC, payback period, and contribution margin as daily vocabulary, and you optimise for these wider business metrics, not just platform CPA.
  • Confident operating as a standalone lead while a team is built around you.
  • You default to running new experiments every week.
  • Experience designing large-scale brand awareness tests using holdout groups or equivalent attribution methods.
