Performance Marketing Manager – B2B Demand Generation – Up to £75k + bonus - Hybrid (Reading)
Our client is a leading UK infrastructure organisation entering a major phase of growth, innovation and category expansion. They’re looking for a Performance Marketing Manager who can take full ownership of demand generation strategy and performance campaign execution, designing integrated, high‑impact programmes that drive measurable pipeline contribution across core propositions, new product launches and enterprise growth initiatives.
This role blends strategic thinking with hands‑on performance craft: developing campaign architecture, audience targeting, messaging strategy and creative testing frameworks, then executing and optimising campaigns through insight‑led iteration.
The Role
You’ll lead the end‑to‑end demand generation strategy, translating commercial priorities into integrated, performance‑led campaigns that deliver both brand cut‑through and pipeline impact. You’ll shape audience segmentation, messaging hierarchy, channel mix and conversion pathways, while partnering closely with Sales, Brand, Content and Digital teams to ensure campaigns land with clarity and commercial intent. This is a high‑ownership role where you’ll design, launch, optimise and continuously improve campaigns that compete externally and deliver standout results.
What You’ll Do
- Own demand generation and performance campaign strategy across core propositions, new products and vertical growth
- Translate commercial priorities into integrated campaigns including segmentation, messaging and channel architecture
- Set performance standards for conversion, lead quality and pipeline contribution
- Define creative requirements including angles, hypotheses and variant strategy
- Align with Sales leadership on targeting, lead quality and follow‑up expectations
- Design and deliver high‑impact campaigns with strong propositions, creative direction and multi‑channel activation
- Lead end‑to‑end campaign management including launch readiness, execution cadence and optimisation cycles
- Run a disciplined test‑and‑learn engine across creative, messaging and audience segments
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Content, Brand, Digital Growth and Martech teams
- Produce performance reporting including weekly dashboards, post‑mortems and quarterly insights

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
