About the Role
We have an incredible opportunity for a Performance Marketing Manager to join the team at On the Beach! If you are a strategic thinker who loves building high-performing channels, leading people, and using AI to revolutionise and scale operations, we want to hear from you.
In this role, you will own the day-to-day execution for our core paid channels, with Paid Search and Demand Gen acting as your immediate priorities. Working closely with the Performance Marketing Lead, you will define our channel roadmaps, establish best-practice activation strategies that keep us at the forefront of a dynamic industry, lead a Performance Marketing Executive, and collaborate heavily across internal teams like Creative and Partnerships to maximise business growth.
What you’ll be doing day to day
Performance & Analytics:
- Take accountability for channel budgets and ROI, ensuring all channels align with our overall booking and traffic targets.
- Translate complex platform data into clear, actionable commercial insights for stakeholders and business leaders.
Strategy & Ownership:
- Define and execute the channel strategy for Paid Search & Demand Gen, Display, and Price Comparison sites alongside the Performance Marketing Lead.

People Leadership:
- Line manage, mentor, and develop a Performance Marketing Executive, guiding their daily execution and supporting their career growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner closely with our internal Creative team to build a high-velocity testing loop.
- Work with our Partnerships team to unlock co-marketing opportunities and maximise efficiency.
AI & Innovation Roadmap:
- Lead the integration of AI-driven technologies within your channels - from automated workflows to using AI tools for rapid creative testing and asset variation.
Testing & Experimentation:
- Own the overarching testing framework across your channels, shifting the focus toward rapid, data-backed testing across all channels.
You’ll be a great addition to our team if you have the following skills, knowledge, and experience
Proven Experience:
- Strong background in performance marketing, with deep, hands-on expertise in Paid Search (Google Ads, Search Ads 360, Bing). Experience in other paid channels is desirable.
Leadership Skills:
- Experience managing, mentoring, or coaching junior team members, with a passion for helping others succeed.
Collaborative Mindset:
- A track record of working seamlessly with non-technical teams, specifically Creative and Partnerships, to turn ideas into high-performing campaigns.
AI Forward-Thinking:
- Enthusiasm for and experience with AI marketing tools and platform automation to drive workflow efficiency and creative testing.
Commercial & Analytical:
- You manage budgets & targets, with an ability to tie channel metrics directly to business goals.
Excellent Communicator:
- Confident translating data into compelling narratives for cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
What to expect from our interview process
We’ll run a multiple stage interview process, one stage of which will be an in-person interview at our fabulous Aeroworks office in Manchester city centre.

Ways of working
Our full-time hours are 37.5 per week, but we don't have rigid working hours, so you can find the working pattern that's right for you. We have core working hours between 10am - 4pm, so we can collaborate and enjoy the social side of work.
We also have hybrid working, so we all work from home and from our Aeroworks office in Manchester City Centre. As a team, we are in the office 2 days per week (usually Tuesday & Wednesday).
