Performance Marketing Manager
TBCo · Growth Team · Reporting to Head of Growth
At TBCo, we create easy-to-style statement pieces designed to make an impact. As a B Corp certified brand, we believe in responsible retail, high-quality natural materials, and products that empower self-expression in both outfit and home.
We're looking for a data-driven and commercially minded Performance Marketing Manager to join our growing Growth Team. Reporting to our Head of Growth, you'll play a key role in scaling TBCo's paid acquisition and driving profitable, efficient growth across every market we operate in. You'll be the internal owner of our paid media strategy — managing our external paid social and paid search agency to deliver against commercial goals, while staying close enough to the platforms to build and optimise campaigns yourself when it matters.
The Role
As Performance Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving efficient, profitable growth through TBCo's paid marketing channels, working through and alongside our paid social and paid search agency.
Your work will include:
- Managing TBCo's paid social and paid search agency relationship — setting strategy, briefing priorities and holding the agency accountable for performance across Meta, Google Search and Google Shopping in the UK, US and EU markets
- Being hands-on and comfortable building, launching and editing campaigns and ad sets directly in-platform (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads) — not solely reliant on the agency for execution
- Experience across Pinterest and Tiktok with the ability to run these channels in house
- Setting and reporting against key performance targets, including ROAS, CAC, CPA and blended marketing efficiency ratio, and holding the agency to these targets
- Building and maintaining account-level and campaign-level reporting to track performance across agency and in-house activity, spot trends and flag opportunities or risks
- Developing and running structured creative testing programmes in partnership with our in-house Brand and Design teams, briefing in new assets and reviewing results
- Identifying and correcting concentration risk, creative fatigue and audience saturation across campaigns, challenging the agency where performance slips
- Managing budget allocation and pacing across channels, markets and agency spend to maximise return on media investment
- Exploring and utilising AI tools to support media planning, reporting, creative iteration and workflow efficiency
- Partnering with the CRM, Ecommerce and Retail teams to align agency and in-house paid media activity with promotional calendar, product launches and stock availability
- Staying ahead of platform updates, industry trends and emerging channels, and pushing the agency to keep TBCo's media strategy competitive

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who You Are
You are analytical, commercially sharp and proactive, with a strong understanding of performance marketing, ecommerce and paid media platforms. You're equally comfortable managing an agency relationship strategically and rolling up your sleeves to work hands-on in-platform.
You will have:
- Proven experience in a performance marketing or paid media role, ideally within fashion, lifestyle, interiors or ecommerce — including experience managing or working closely with an external media agency
- A strong track record of managing paid social and/or paid search budgets (whether in-house, agency-led, or a mix of both) and delivering against efficiency targets
- Hands-on confidence in Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads and Google Shopping — able to build and adjust campaigns yourself, not just review agency output; experience with TikTok or Pinterest ads a plus
- The confidence to hold an agency accountable — asking the right questions, spotting when something isn't working, and stepping in to fix or rebuild campaigns when needed
- Confidence working with data and reporting tools to draw insight and inform decisions (Excel/Sheets essential; experience with platforms like Sweet Analytics, Triple Whale or similar a plus)
- Experience briefing and collaborating with design/creative teams to develop high-performing ad assets
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns and an agency relationship across markets in a fast-paced environment
- An interest in emerging tools and technologies, with a willingness to experiment with AI to enhance performance and efficiency
