For almost two decades, Cornerstone’s infrastructure has quietly supported the UK’s mobile networks. Whilst we continue to strengthen that foundation and extend its reach, we’re in an exciting period of acceleration and product development that will see us enable more connectivity and compute to more communities and industries across the UK.
The Role
To own the demand generation campaign strategy and performance marketing execution for the Cornerstone, designing and delivering integrated, high-impact campaigns that drive measurable pipeline contribution across both core and new business acceleration priorities.
This role blends marketing craft and commercial performance: developing campaign thinking, audience targeting, messaging strategy and creative performance frameworks, then executing, optimising and improving results through insight-led iteration.
Why This Role Matters
This is a high-impact role at a pivotal point in Cornerstone’s growth. As the business expands its propositions and sharpens its commercial focus, this role will play a key part in turning strategy into demand — building campaigns that not only raise awareness, but also generate quality engagement, stronger leads and measurable pipeline contribution. It’s an opportunity to shape how Cornerstone shows up in the market, bring more consistency and creativity to performance marketing, and help create a smarter, more connected campaign engine that supports both immediate priorities and long-term growth.
What You’ll Do
- 🎯 Own demand generation strategy across core propositions, launches and growth programmes, translating commercial priorities into integrated campaigns that drive pipeline impact.
- 🚀 Design and deliver integrated, high-impact campaigns with clear audience targeting, messaging, channel strategy and conversion pathways, then optimise performance through disciplined test-and-learn.
- 📊 Own performance standards and reporting, including conversion measurement, lead quality, campaign dashboards, post-campaign reviews and quarterly insight to show what drives impact.
- 🎨 Define creative requirements for performance success, shaping campaign narratives, briefs, testing hypotheses and variant strategies across copy, design, format and calls to action.
- 🤝 Partner closely with Sales and cross-functional teams to align targeting, lead quality, creative execution, digital optimisation, automation journeys and follow-up standards.
- 🧪 Build and run a robust test-and-learn approach, using campaign hypotheses, experiment design and audience performance data to continuously improve results.
- 📅 Lead end-to-end campaign management, ensuring launch readiness, delivery control, clear execution cadence and timely optimisation decisions.
- 🌐 Shape channel activation across organic, paid and partner activity, working closely with digital teams to strengthen landing pages, conversion journeys and campaign effectiveness.
- 💡 Turn performance data into actionable insight, using campaign readouts and post-campaign reviews to inform future planning and strengthen marketing impact over time.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
