The Role
This role is responsible for leading end-to-end customer acquisition performance across a diverse mix of digital channels, including paid media, organic search (SEO, GEO, AEO), website conversion optimisation (CRO), and local demand platforms such as Google Business Profiles and online dental directories.
You will drive efficient, scalable growth by optimising performance across the full acquisition journey, supported by strong digital analytics and tracking. Using data-led insights, you will continuously refine strategies, inform broader marketing direction, and guide channel prioritisation and investment to maximise return. Crucially, you will translate performance data into meaningful commercial outcomes, ensuring insights are turned into actions that deliver tangible business growth and value.
Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with external paid media and SEO agency partners, ensuring strong performance, accountability, strategic alignment and continuous optimisation against commercial objectives.
- Own and deliver the end-to-end acquisition strategy across paid media, organic (SEO, GEO, AEO), CRO, affiliates and local demand channels.
- Set channel roles, objectives, budgets and investment priorities to drive efficient, scalable growth against commercial targets.
- Balance short-term performance with long-term demand generation and sustainability.
- Lead paid media planning, optimisation and testing (audiences, creatives, formats, landing pages) to maximise ROI and demand quality.
- Drive organic acquisition performance, partnering with content and technical teams to optimise visibility, site health and discovery opportunities.
- Own website conversion optimisation, identifying friction points and leading testing to improve customer journeys and conversion rates.
- Manage local demand channels (e.g. Google Business Profiles, directories), optimising presence and performance across locations.
- Define and oversee acquisition measurement frameworks, ensuring robust tracking, attribution and high-quality data to drive decisions and commercial outcomes.
- Translate performance data into actionable insights, shaping strategy, reporting, budget allocation and wider marketing direction.
- Line manage and develop the acquisition team, setting clear objectives, building capability across disciplines, and fostering a high-performing, insight-led culture.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
