Are you looking for a new role where you can take full ownership of paid media and drive real growth?

My client is looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to lead paid social and paid search activity across Meta and Google Ads, with additional exposure to affiliate marketing. This is a hands-on role in a fast-growing business where you’ll have real ownership of performance and budget.

You’ll be responsible for planning, executing and optimising campaigns across paid social and paid search, with a clear focus on scaling performance and improving efficiency. From testing creatives and audiences on Meta to refining keyword strategy, bidding and structure across Google Ads, you’ll continuously drive improvements across the funnel. You’ll manage testing roadmaps, analyse performance data and make quick, informed decisions on where to scale and where to optimise. Alongside core paid media, you’ll also support and help grow the affiliate channel, working with partners to drive incremental revenue.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
