Lane Media - Performance Media Executive

Lane Media are searching for a Performance Media Executive to work within our experienced and dynamic performance media team to deliver best in class results across paid media channels for our varied international client base.

You’ll be working within the award-winning Lane Media team, where an enthusiastic self-starter, with a ‘can do’ attitude will continue to learn, implement and thrive. You’ll be bringing your client handling experience to the fore and be able to efficiently handle several client campaigns at once in varied sectors from e-commerce, food, retail, arts/culture, charity and technology. You will regularly keep in contact with clients to make sure our work within all media channels is perfectly aligned with their business goals.

The role is based at our office in Edinburgh, where we operate a hybrid approach to work, with flexible working hours across a 3:2 working model with regular office attendance expected on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and the opportunity to work remotely Tuesdays and Fridays. The Lane Group office is a modern, open plan, relaxed working space, shared with our creative counterparts at Lane.

This would be a perfect first or second role for digital native self-starters. We're ideally looking for candidates with in-platform experience across Google, Meta, TikTok, Reddit and/or ChatGPT.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Execute and optimise campaigns across paid social, search, shopping, and programmatic display channels.
  • Present innovative media solutions to clients based on industry trends and insights.
  • Manage the day-to-day administration of client accounts, including invoicing, timing plans, and client communication.
  • Actively seek opportunities to enhance campaign performance and stay abreast of digital industry developments.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and optimise campaigns to meet agreed-upon KPIs.
  • Develop and execute media plans aligned with performance objectives.
  • Prepare regular reports, proposals, and presentations for client meetings.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and collaborate with the Performance Media Director to capitalise on them.

Desirable Skills:

  • Hands-on experience managing performance marketing campaigns.
  • Knowledge of digital media best practices.
  • Proficiency in cross-channel platforms, including Google Ads and Meta Business Manager.
  • Interest and willingness to explore new platforms and technologies.
  • Enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and a growth mindset.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit – at Lane Media, we relish working with self-starters who are keen to progress and perform at their best.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills, comfortable with all core Microsoft Office products, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Proven success working with all levels of management.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and advanced organisational skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • A confident speaker, able to present campaign strategies and results both internally within the agency and externally to clients.
  • A positive attitude to your work and your colleagues.
