Role Overview

Job Title: Performance Physiotherapist Company: Remedy Health and Performance Location: London (clinic-based), with home visits and ad-hoc global travel Job Type: Full-time Hours: 37.5 hrs/week (Mon–Fri), with rota-based weekend cover (~1 in 6 weekends required) Start Date: Immediately Salary: Dependent on experience

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Performance Physiotherapist to join our dynamic London-based team. As a Remedy therapist, you’ll take a personalised and evidence-based approach to rehabilitation, injury prevention, and athletic enhancement for world-class athletes, business professionals, and performing artists.

You’ll design and execute bespoke rehabilitation programmes, deliver hands-on rehabilitation therapies, and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team—all while working flexibly around your clients’ rigorous demands.

1. Client Assessment & Evaluation

  • Conduct comprehensive biomechanical and movement assessments to pinpoint injuries, dysfunctions, and performance limitations.
  • Apply advanced sports injury diagnostics to align treatment with client-specific goals.

2. Tailored Rehabilitation & Recovery

  • Develop and implement evidence-based, bespoke rehabilitation programmes to restore function and prevent re-injury.
  • Integrate manual therapy techniques (mobilisation, soft-tissue release, etc.) for pain management and mobility restoration.
  • Prescribe tailored exercise regimens (strength, flexibility, plyometrics, etc.) to optimise performance recovery.

3. Collaborative Approach

  • Work closely with sports scientists, sports therapists, and strength & conditioning coaches to deliver a holistic care plan.
  • Follow protocols while adapting techniques to suit elite-level clients in dynamic environments (e.g., training venues, business events).

4. Client Education & Support

  • Educate clients on injury mechanics, self-care strategies, and sustainable lifestyle modifications to maintain performance.
  • Advise on preventive measures suited to the demands of their specific profession (e.g., athletes, corporate executives, performers).

5. Progress Monitoring & Documentation

  • Track and review ongoing progress with data-driven adjustments to rehabilitation strategies.
  • Maintain detailed clinical records for continuity and accountability across care programmes.

Requirements & Qualifications

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (desirable: MSc/relevant Master’s in Sport & Performance/Rebo-tology).
  • HCPC registration (Health & Care Professions Council) and right to work in the UK.
  • CSP membership.
  • 3–5 years of experience working within a professional sport/sports medicine setting.
  • Extensive knowledge of:
    • Sports biomechanics.
    • Evidence-based rehabilitation techniques.
    • Advanced sports injury management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse elite clients (in sports, entertainment, and business).
  • Strong communication for consultative, educational, and professional collaboration.
  • Self-motivated, highly organised, and adept at time management.
