TGR Haas F1 Team

TGR Haas F1 Team has been a stalwart of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship over the past decade. With more than 200 grand prix starts to our name, we pride ourselves on being an ambitious challenger within Formula 1 - and we want you to be part of that journey.

The first American Formula 1 team to compete in the sport since 1986, TGR Haas F1 Team made an immediate impression with a memorable points-scoring debut at the 2016 Australian Grand Prix. Ten years later, the team is still building momentum, guided by clear objectives and technical partnerships, and fresh from securing its second biggest points haul in a Formula 1 season.

We’re a racing team – not a corporate machine. We have three HQs – Kannapolis in the US, Banbury in the UK and Maranello in Italy – each powered by passionate, loyal and hardworking team ambassadors. At TGR Haas F1 Team, you’ll gain exposure to many areas of the business, enjoy wider visibility, and clearly see your contributions.

Yes, you’ll learn from us, but we expect to learn from you too!

General Summary

This role reports to the Performance Director or their designee and is based in Banbury, UK.

This role is responsible for coordinating and providing operational support across the Performance groups: Performance Systems, Software, Race Engineering, Heritage Engineering (TPC), and Controls & Systems, ensuring effective programme governance, alignment, and execution of key engineering activities. Acting as a central point of coordination, the role drives cross-functional collaboration, monitors progress against strategic and operational plans, and enables consistent, high-quality delivery through structured communication and robust reporting.

The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, performance monitoring, continuous improvement, and the implementation of policies and procedures, alongside regular communication with senior leadership. It also plays a key role in fostering a culture of accountability, inclusivity, and development.

Role Principles

  • Act with integrity, always upholding the highest professional and ethical standards.
  • Drive innovation and change to continuously improve ways of working and outcomes.
  • Pursue operational excellence, ensuring efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate inclusively, building strong partnerships to achieve shared goals.
  • Maintain a customer‑focused approach, prioritising the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Champion sustainability by embedding responsible and environmentally conscious practices into everyday work.

Key Responsibilities

Role Specific Responsibilities

  • Provide programme coordination and project governance support for cross-functional initiatives spanning Performance Director priorities and the wider Performance group, including planning, RAID, dependency tracking, and action follow-up.
  • Provide structured workforce planning coordination support across the Performance groups (hiring needs, contract tracking, onboarding), working with Human Resources.
  • Support budgeting processes (annual planning, reforecasting, tracking) through coordination and reporting; ownership remains with HODs/Finance.
  • Compile and prepare technical reports for external regulatory submissions to HMRC, in collaboration with HODs/Finance.
  • Produce concise management reporting covering delivery progress, workforce status, and key risks for senior stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective cross-functional communication and alignment, escalating issues and decision points to maintain delivery momentum.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
