About the Role

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), the world’s seventh largest financial group, is seeking a talented Analyst to join their Support Functions Performance and Reward Advisory team in London. What you'll do

  • Support the delivery of Performance and Reward advisory services to designated business areas across EMEA by providing comprehensive analytical, operational, and project assistance.
  • Produce detailed remuneration, performance, and workforce-related analysis to inform decision-making processes for business leaders and Human Resources stakeholders.
  • Prepare high-quality management information reports, presentations, briefing materials, and committee papers tailored for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
  • Assist in annual compensation and performance management cycles by conducting data validation, analysis, modelling, and reporting activities with precision.
  • Contribute to the preparation of remuneration recommendations through benchmarking analysis and market intelligence gathering to support informed reward decisions.
  • Analyse workforce composition, compensation trends, and performance data to identify risks, opportunities, and actionable insights for key stakeholders.
  • Support organisational design initiatives including restructuring efforts and workforce planning by leveraging advanced data analysis techniques.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources, Finance teams, and business stakeholders to gather critical information, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure accurate execution of reward processes.
  • Maintain robust governance standards by ensuring all documentation is complete, controls are effective, and audit trails are meticulously kept up-to-date.
  • Participate actively in strategic projects, change initiatives, process improvements across the Performance and Reward function while maintaining reward databases and analytical models.

What you bring

  • Demonstrated experience in Reward, Human Resources, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related discipline with proven ability to interpret complex datasets for meaningful insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel alongside strong PowerPoint skills enabling you to prepare compelling reports for diverse stakeholder audiences.
  • Exceptional attention to detail coupled with a commitment to accuracy ensures reliable outputs even when managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills allowing you to convey technical information clearly across various levels of the organisation.
  • A collaborative approach with proven ability to work effectively within teams while taking responsibility for assigned deliverables.
  • Curiosity about commercial drivers combined with willingness to learn new concepts relevant to reward management within financial services environments.
  • Experience preparing management information reports or presentations tailored for senior stakeholders is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with compensation frameworks such as performance management or workforce planning processes would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of financial services remuneration practices or governance requirements adds further value but is not essential.
  • A degree or equivalent work experience demonstrating analytical capability is required; additional qualifications in HR or finance are beneficial.
