About the Role

MUFG, the world’s seventh largest financial group, is seeking a talented Analyst to join their Support Functions: Performance & Reward Advisory Team.

    • Performance management
    • Workforce planning
    • Organisational effectiveness

What You’ll Do

  • Delivering Analytical & Project Support:
    • Support Performance & Reward advisory services across EMEA by providing comprehensive analytical, operational, and project assistance to designated business areas.
  • **Finding Insightful Decision-Making:")
    • Produce detailed remuneration, performance, and workforce-related analyses to inform business leaders and HR stakeholders.
  • Creating High-Impact Reports & Materials:
    • Prepare management information reports, presentations, briefing materials, and committee papers tailored for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
  • Annual Compensation & Performance Support:
    • Assist in annual cycles by conducting data validation, analysis, modelling, and reporting with precision and accuracy.
  • Benchmarking & Reward Decision Support:
    • Contribute to remuneration recommendations through benchmarking analysis and market intelligence gathering.
  • Workforce & Reporting Analysis:
    • Analyse workforce composition trends, compensation, and performance data to identify risks, opportunities, and actionable insights.
  • Urban & Organisational Design:
    • Support organisational design initiatives (restructuring, workforce planning) through advanced data analysis.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work closely with HR, Finance teams, and business stakeholders, ensuring critical data gathering, efficient issue resolution, and execution of reward processes.
  • Governance & Audit Support:
    • Maintain robust governance standards, ensuring complete documentation, effective controls, and up-to-date audit trails.
  • Strategic Contribution:
    • Participate actively in strategic projects, change initiatives, and process improvements across the Performance & Reward function, while maintaining reward databases and predictive models.

What You Bring

Before applying, consider whether you match the following skills and qualifications:

✅ Experience Essentials:

  • Proven experience in Reward, HR, Finance, Data Analytics, or related disciplines, with data interpretation skills for meaningful insights.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (modelling, analysis) plus PowerPoint expertise for clear presentations to diverse stakeholders.

✅ Attention to Detail & Accuracy:

  • Excellent focus on ensuring high-quality, reliable outputs, even when managing multiple priorities.
  • Commitment to lasting accuracy across data-driven deliverables.

✅ Communication Proficiency:

  • Exceptional written and verbal skills to explain technical information clearly at all organisational levels.

✅ Collaboration & Ownership:

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within teams while also taking ownership of deliverables.

✅ Commercial & Learning Curiosity:

  • Interest in financial services reward practices and commercial drivers for sustainable growth.
  • Willingness to learn new concepts relevant to reward management in financial sectors.

✅ Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience preparing management information reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with compensation frameworks, performance management, or workforce planning.
  • Knowledge of financial services remuneration practices or governance adds further benefit.

✅ Education & Background:

  • A degree or equivalent work experience showcasing analytical capabilities is required.
  • Additional qualifications in HR or finance are beneficial.
