Performance Systems Technician

Location: Northamptonshire (with UK travel)

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a hands-on, reliable and motivated Performance Systems Technician to join the team.

The Role

This is a varied and practical role involving:

  • Manufacturing and building bespoke saunas
  • Installation of recovery and wellness systems
  • Equipment servicing and maintenance
  • Workshop preparation and assembly
  • Deliveries and on-site setup
  • Supporting repairs and diagnostics
  • Representing the HELIX brand professionally on-site

You’ll work both from our Northamptonshire facility and at customer sites across the UK.

No two days are the same — one day may involve building saunas in the workshop, while another may involve installing ice baths, servicing recovery and wellness systems or supporting commercial wellness projects on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manufacture bespoke saunas
  • Install and commission recovery equipment
  • Prepare equipment in the workshop before dispatch
  • Carry out servicing, repairs and fault finding
  • Support loading, logistics and installations
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and presentation
  • Represent the company professionally with customers
  • Assist with builds, events and demonstrations when required
  • Ensure installations are completed safely and efficiently

Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Practical and hands-on
  • Reliable and organised
  • Professional and customer-focused
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Willing to travel and occasionally stay away overnight
  • Keen to learn new systems and technologies

An interest in wellness, human performance, biohacking and emerging wellness technologies is desirable but not essential.

Experience with any of the following would be beneficial:

  • Joinery or carpentry
  • Electrical/mechanical work
  • Technical installations
  • Servicing/repair work
  • Fabrication or workshop assembly
  • Wellness or fitness equipment
