Synechron is looking for Senior Performance & Non-Functional Testing Lead to shape and deliver testing strategy across a large-scale global IAM transformation programme.

This role will focus on validating the scalability, resilience, availability, and operational readiness of complex cloud-based services, with particular emphasis on performance, load, stress, volume, failover, disaster recovery, and high availability testing.

You will work closely with engineering, architecture, DevOps, product, and support teams to embed non-functional testing into delivery pipelines and enable safe, scalable releases.

ROLE:

  • Own the end-to-end Performance & Non-Functional Testing capability across the programme
  • Define and maintain the testing strategy, roadmap, tooling, environments, and resourcing approach
  • Translate non-functional requirements into measurable test outcomes and coverage plans
  • Lead the execution of testing across load, stress, volume, resilience, failover, high availability, and disaster recovery scenarios
  • Analyse logs, profilers, and system metrics to identify bottlenecks and recommend remediation
  • Provide clear reporting on progress, risks, KPIs, defects, and release readiness
  • Integrate testing tools and reporting into CI/CD pipelines and quality frameworks
  • Mentor engineers and promote best practice, standards, and governance across testing

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
