What To Expect

As a Performance & Transformation Specialist, you will join us on our journey and undertake an influential role by supporting the Head of Continuous Improvement and the extended Retail leadership team in following best practice across Revenue and Retail.

The Performance & Transformation Specialist is a key supporting role within the Retail Continuous Improvement team, responsible for coordinating activity, tracking delivery, and providing performance insight to support the effective operation of the Continuous Improvement function. Acting as a central point of coordination, the role supports the Head of Continuous Improvement by ensuring improvement activity is planned, tracked, and governed effectively, with clear visibility of priorities, progress, risks, and dependencies. The role operates as a mini business support role for the Retail function, enabling pace, discipline, and transparency across Retail improvement activity. It does not own delivery or strategy but plays a critical role in enabling others to deliver effectively.

How our people behave is as important to Post Office, as what is delivered. The Performance & Transformation Specialist will role model the Post Office behaviours and demonstrate an Operator first mindset.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
