Highrise is the leading performance marketing agency specialising in full-funnel growth for Direct-to-Consumer brands. THE ROLE

As a Performance Video Editor at Highrise, you will create performance creative that is built to convert, not just to look good. You will edit short and long-form video ads for Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok and YouTube, lean heavily on AI tooling to produce assets at speed, and work side by side with our Creative Strategists and Media Buyers to turn ideas into ads that win. This is a hands-on role for someone who is motivated, ambitious and genuinely excited about where AI is taking creative, with clear opportunities to grow into Creative Strategy, Team Lead or Senior specialist roles as you prove yourself.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Performance Creative

  • Edit engaging short and long-form (DTC) video ads for Meta, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, built around the metrics that matter and not just aesthetics.
  • Produce UGC, VSL and short, TikTok-style video at the pace performance testing demands.
  • Take creative concepts from brief through to a finished, ready-to-launch ad.

AI and Tooling

  • Generate and integrate AI-driven video assets, including AI avatars, voiceovers and visuals.
  • Use AI tools such as ElevenLabs (and others) to speed up production without compromising on quality.
  • Use Foreplay and similar platforms to research, source and organise reference and inspiration that sharpens the creative.

Collaboration and Delivery

  • Work closely with Creative Strategists and Media Buyers to make sure every asset is set up to perform.
  • Source and curate relevant content across social platforms and adapt it for paid campaigns.
  • Own video quality from start to finish and deliver projects on time, every time.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 1-4 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Premiere Pro (or an equivalent editing suite).
  • A genuine interest in performance creative and a desire to grow within performance marketing, with a clear understanding that the goal is results, not just a polished edit.
  • Fundamentals with AI creative tools such as ElevenLabs, OpenArt, Claude, Higgsfield, Artlist, and a keenness to keep learning new ones.
  • Familiarity with paid social ad formats across Meta, TikTok and YouTube, including UGC, VSL and short-form.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Bonus: experience with creative research tools like Foreplay, or working with D2C and eCommerce brands.

  • Keen on AI. You are excited by AI creative tools and actively look for ways to use them to produce better work, faster. You see AI as an advantage, not a threat.
  • Results over Aesthetics. You care how an ad looks, but you care more about whether it performs. You will happily kill a beautiful edit if the data says another approach wins.
  • Proactive Ownership. You take a project from brief to finished ad and see it through. You do not wait to be directed, you spot what needs doing and make it happen.
  • Motivated and Ambitious. You bring real drive and want to grow. You are hungry to take on more and to progress towards Creative Strategy, Team Lead or Senior roles over time.
  • Collaborative by Nature. You thrive working alongside Strategists and Media Buyers, share openly, and are motivated by getting the team and the project over the line together.
