Peripatetic Care Manager (Nurse Qualified) - Up to £62,752 per annum - Covering our Essex Region.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nurse Qualified Peripatetic Care Manager to support our care homes across the Essex region. Working closely with Home Managers, Regional teams you will provide flexible clinical leadership and support where it is needed most across the region.
Excelcare is a family-owned care home group established for over 34 years. We provide the highest standards of care to older people with a range of needs including dementia, physical disabilities, and mental health issues. - Salary: Up to £62,752 per annum.
- 45 hours a week from Monday - Sunday
About the role:
The Peripatetic Care Manager will provide leadership on all issues relating to clinical excellence across our Essex homes. You will work flexibly across the region, supporting Home Managers and care teams to ensure effective nursing and care services are delivered, quality standards are continually improved, and clinical outcomes are recorded and measured.

As the Peripatetic Care Manager, you will support teams across multiple homes, helping ensure colleagues feel confident, well supported and able to provide the best care for our residents. You will be passionate about delivering high quality care, improving standards and ensuring residents' lives are continually enriched. You will also support with management cover, audits, clinical oversight, action planning and on-call arrangements as required across the Essex region.
This is a regional role, so you will need to be comfortable travelling between our Essex homes and adapting your support to meet the needs of each service.

What we are looking for from you:
- Registered Nurse - RGN, qualified with active PIN
- Experienced within a nursing/care home setting for older people.
- Extensive clinical knowledge
- Sound knowledge of CQC Regulations and legislation
- Excellent organisation and planning skills.
- Someone who builds and retains hard-working and successful teams.
