Are you passionate about safety, operational excellence, and making a real impact in the water industry?

Join our Water Recycling Bioresources Treatment Team as a Permit Control Officer and play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of our largest Water Recycling Centres.

About The Role

As the Bioresources Permit Control Officer, you’ll oversee the complete lifecycle of the permit-to-work (PTW) process for high-risk activities, such as; hot work, confined space entry, and electrical isolations. You’ll be at the heart of our operations, working closely with site teams and contractors to ensure all work is authorised, coordinated, and executed to the highest health and safety standards.

You’ll drive daily permit meetings, validate risk assessments, monitor compliance, and lead on-site safety initiatives. Your proactive approach will help us minimise operational risks, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and enable our teams to exceed performance and environmental targets.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
