Freelance Persian/Farsi Quality Assurance Lead (Remote)

You will work as a Persian (Farsi) Quality Assurance Lead (QAL) on an hourly, remote contractor basis, overseeing quality, consistency, and trainer performance across Persian/Farsi AI training projects. Your responsibilities include reviewing AI-generated Persian/Farsi content, assessing trainer/QA work, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.

About the Role

This role involves tracking, testing, and analyzing AI-generated Persian/Farsi content to guarantee accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and instructional consistency. You will provide detailed feedback to trainers and QAs while maintaining rigorous documentation for future reference.

The role is with SME Careers—a fast-growing AI Data Services company, a Subsidiary of SuperAnnotate that delivers high-quality training data to leading AI companies and foundation-model labs. Your expertise will directly impact cultural alignment and professional language consistency in the world’s top AI models.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Monitoring

  • Spot-check Persian/Farsi items for accuracy, fluency, grammar, and cultural relevance.
  • Identify recurring quality issues and escalate critical concerns.
  • Provide ongoing feedback via DMs to trainers and QAs.

Trainer & QA Communication

  • Update trainers and QAs via Discord on new guidelines, project changes, and workflow updates.
  • Clearly address queries about:
    • Persian/Farsi register & vocabulary selection
    • Translation fidelity
    • Cultural context alignment
    • Right-to-left (RTL) formatting
    • Script conventions & terminology consistency
    • Edge cases in instruction-following

Trainer/QA Activation Management

  • Identify inactive contributors and encourage participation.
  • Track follow-ups and flag availability issues when necessary.

Documentation & Onboarding

  • Develop and maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, and examples.
  • Create honeypots (hidden quality checks) and onboarding materials.
  • Schedule training calls to explain instructions, workflows, rubrics, and Persian/Farsi language/style requirements.

Quality Alignment & Process Improvement

  • Ensure consistent Persian/Farsi language standards across projects.
  • Propose workflow enhancements by identifying recurring quality gaps.
  • Build scalable QA frameworks for future Persian-based projects.

Job Requirements

Education & Background

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field, including:
    • Persian/Farsi Studies
    • Linguistics
    • Translation
    • Communications, Journalism, Education
    • English or Quality Assurance (Other relevant academic backgrounds considered.)

Language & Technical Skills

  • Native or near-native Persian/Farsi proficiency (reading, writing, cultural nuances).
  • Fluent English for guideline compliance and cross-team communication.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Persian/Farsi grammar, spelling conventions, register, tone, and context.
    • Iranian Persian script conventions, RTL formatting, and regional variations.

Professional Experience

  • 3+ years in:
    • Writing, editing, or translation (Persian/Farsi)
    • Content QA, AI training, or data annotation workflows
    • Localization, teacher training, or language-associated quality review.

Team Leadership & Remote Work

  • Preference for experience managing or supporting:
    • Remote trainers
    • Annotators, editors, or QA teams
  • Ability to run document-driven workflows via:
    • Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, and project management tools.

Key Traits

  • Hyper-attentive to detail—able to spot micro-inconsistencies.
  • Strong logical organization—maintaining structured documentation.
  • Experience evaluating AI training data, LLMs, prompts/responses, or rubric-based LLM QA is a plus.
