Bombardier’s Business Aircraft London Service Centre in Biggin Hill is part of an award-winning network and is the flagship of Bombardier’s European operation. This Base and Line Maintenance Centre is the fastest-growing Service Centre in Europe and the largest Business Aircraft OEM in the UK. The facility has the capabilities to perform an array of maintenance checks, modifications and upgrades all from this site. Only 14 miles from London, Bombardier’s Biggin Hill Service Centre is ideally located to support operators in the UK region and beyond.
Role Summary
In this role, you will provide high-level administrative and executive support to the General Manager with additional support to the Operations Director and wider leadership team, ensuring the effective coordination of meetings, governance activities, travel, communications and site events.
Contributions to the Team
- Providing PA support to the General Manager, including diary management, email oversight, travel arrangements, expense management, approvals and presentation preparation.
- Coordinating key governance and management meetings, including Daily/Monthly Management Meetings, Staff Town Halls and ad hoc leadership meetings, ensuring agendas, materials, actions and communications are effectively managed.
- Supporting senior leadership with action tracking, stakeholder follow-up, meeting attendance and business reporting.
- Organising domestic and international travel, events and visits, including conferences, customer meetings, workshops and bi-annual executive leadership visits.
- Providing administrative support to the Operations Director, including meeting coordination, minute taking, action management and internal communications.
- Planning and delivering employee engagement and social events, including Family Day, Bring Your Kid to Work Day and seasonal celebrations, while coordinating budgets, vendors, logistics, risk assessments and stakeholder communications.
- Preparing and distributing business communications, newsletters and weekend cover notices as required.
- Building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and maintaining a high level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality at all times.
- Performing other similar duties as assigned.

How to Thrive in this Role
- Prior experience of an EA/PA/secretarial role
- Thorough knowledge of computerised applications, for example, word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software as required
- Thorough knowledge of auditing expense reports, purchase orders, invoices, and related documents to verify accuracy
- Skills necessary to manage time and prioritise tasks
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment effectively managing multiple priorities while collaborating with cross functional teams, corporate offices and external vendors
- Ability to provide direction to other employees as applicable
- Ability to use discretion with customers and staff
- Ability to understand complexity of client relationships and status of accounts for upper management
