About the Role

An international law firm is looking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Legal PA to join the Employment team, providing high level support to a Head of Department, an equity partner, and a team of lawyers. The practice is looking for a positive individual who can work diligently in a fast-paced commercial environment, hitting all targets and working to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities Will Include

  • Building and maintaining a good rapport with clients and colleagues, developing an in-depth understanding of their needs and business;
  • Attending client events and seminars when required;
  • Liaising with Lawyers on a regular basis, keeping up to date with workload and commitments;
  • Extensive diary management;
  • Booking national and international travel and accommodation, taking into consideration individual needs;
  • Booking meeting rooms and providing refreshments and equipment;
  • Providing supporting paperwork and necessary documents to the Lawyers;
  • Resolving day-to-day problems;
  • Answering Lawyers' emails and phone calls appropriately, taking detailed messages or redirecting the call to the right personnel;
  • Answering non-legal enquiries when possible;
  • Preparing documents and PowerPoint slides for meetings and seminars;
  • Managing and coordinating the production of documents;
  • Digital dictation and drafting correspondence;
  • Opening client files, completing conflict checks, collating information, closing files, and archiving documents;
  • Regularly reviewing files, papers, and account balances;
  • Scanning, faxing, photocopying, filing, archiving documents;
  • Liaising with Business Development to ensure a smooth running of the office;
  • Assisting Lawyers with the billing process, drafting narratives, and covering letters.
