Personal Assistant
Role/Team Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Group Finance Team as a Personal Assistant for our new business area. You will report into our Managing Director for New Business and Integration (UK).
The Team is responsible for identifying new business opportunities to further grow Sky and add value to our customers.

What You’ll Do
- Proactive diary management – seamlessly organising and maintaining extremely busy and constantly changing diaries. Booking all meeting rooms, organising frequent video conferencing sessions between offices in all territories, including Comcast and other external companies.
- Assist with managing diaries and coordinating meetings for other Finance team leadership as needed
- Manage travel - arranging occasional domestic and international travel itineraries, flights, rail and taxis.
- Providing professional and effective administrative support –hospitality orders, preparing agendas/materials, meeting and greeting visitors, onboarding new starters and processing expenses.
- Acting as a delegate for Sky systems including Sky Life/Workday, SAP Concur and Spark for all administrative functions required (i.e. approvals, requests, purchasing, invoicing).
- Provide ad-hoc support for the leadership team, supporting in socials and team activities where required.
- Work collaboratively with other PAs across Sky’s Group Finance team. Flexing and adapting where required and supporting each other, whilst also providing admin cover as and when needed for colleague’s holiday.

- Extensive experience as a Personal Assistant to a Managing Director within a large scale, matrixed organisation
- Experience of dealing with large, highly sensitive projects whilst adding value
- Exceptional organisational skills, able to multi-task, have good time management and an eye for detail.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, to tight time scales and enjoy understanding issues and problem solving.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy – using methodical approach to ensure all aspects of a task or project are anticipated and dealt with.
- Ability to show maturity and initiative in often pressurised and confidential situations.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written); able to build effective relationships internally and externally.
- Pro-active team member with excellent interpersonal skills and capability to create rapport at all levels. Equally able to work independently.
