SLNda is an independent film and television production company based in London and Loughborough, founded in 2017 by Ashley Walters and Nagajan Modhwadia. The company focuses on developing and producing culturally authentic and diverse local content with strong storytelling and creative vision. Role Description

We’re looking for an exceptional Personal Assistant / Executive Assistant (PA/EA) to support a high-profile, award-winning actor, director, musician, writer, and producer, who also runs a film production company and an educational institution. This is a full-on, full-time role for someone calm, capable, and brilliantly efficient. You’ll be supporting a multi-hyphenate creative with a demanding international schedule, a large family, and a world that spans everything from set life and studio sessions to book launches and business meetings. You’ll be the go-to person making it all run smoothly – personally and professionally.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level PA/EA support across all areas of life
  • Own and manage a complex, ever-shifting diary – across time zones, platforms, and priorities
  • Liaise with everyone from production assistants on small shoots to CEOs of major global companies
  • Act as a trusted point of contact with all professional reps: agents, managers (UK and US), publishers, publicists, and more
  • Coordinate personal logistics and family arrangements, handling matters with warmth and sensitivity
  • Work closely with accountants on personal and corporate finances – including taxes, invoices, and general coordination (you don’t need to be an accountant, but you do need to know how to stay on top of things and communicate clearly)
  • Organise travel, events, meetings, and document flow
  • Track and manage communication across inboxes, calls, and messages
  • Attend key meetings (virtually or in person), take notes, and follow up on actions

What We’re Looking For

  • An absolute pro at diary management – syncing schedules, blocking time, juggling priorities, and keeping things watertight
  • Tech-savvy and systems-minded – confident with cloud storage, file formats, Office Software, Creative Software, shared drives, and digital communication tools
  • Brilliant with people – from junior staff to high-powered execs and everything in between
  • Organised, calm under pressure, and always thinking five steps ahead
  • Able to handle personal matters with care, discretion, and total trust
  • Familiarity with liaising between talent and accountants, or experience in that space, is a big plus
  • Ideally from an entertainment, media, or creative background – but most importantly, someone who gets how to support someone constantly in motion

Start Date & Training

We are aiming to begin a handover and training period with the outgoing PA in August 2026, with the successful candidate taking on the role independently from September 2026.

Location

Primarily London-based, with a large portion working remotely. You’ll need to be available, responsive, and willing to go the extra mile when needed.
