The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 4, Personal Assistant within the General Medicine Management team. This is a 36-hour position with hours that can be negotiated. The role will be based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Senior Management team within General Medicine
- Manage and coordinate diaries, appointments, and meetings
- Prepare and organise relevant documentation, reports, databases, SSTS & eESS
- Act as a liaison between the Management team and internal/external stakeholders
- Assist in the coordination of departmental projects and initiatives
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Handle communication and correspondence on behalf of the Management team
- Minute taking for Service Speciality meetings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or similar role
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and other relevant software
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
It is anticipated there will be high interest in this post, therefore it may close early. Interviews will be held 2 weeks after the closing date.
Duration, Location, and Working Pattern:
- Permanent, full-time post at 36 hours per week.
- Location: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
