Job Description

Location: Groby LE6

Rate: £17.50 per hour

Hours: 6 hours per week - 6pm to 8pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays

Contract: Self-Employed, Permanent

Closing Date: 7th August 2026

A Personal Assistant is required to support a friendly person in the Groby area.

Role Requirements

You will be required to support the client with:

  • Engaging in conversation
  • Playing cards
  • Hobbies
  • Community outings
  • Light cleaning in the kitchen and hallway
  • Cooking and cleaning up
  • Laundry
  • Changing bed linen
  • Cleaning the bathroom
  • Making shopping lists
  • Supporting with mail

You must have a full, clean UK driving licence. Mileage will be paid by the client.

The client enjoys going for walks, to the cinema, bowling, shopping, going to football matches, circuit training each week, and playing golf. They also enjoy going to the local social club.

The client has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and a Learning Disability, which affects them in the following way:
