Job Title: Personal Assistant (PA) to the Senior Leadership Team

Location: Liverpool, L25

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent (Term-time only options available)

About the School

We are recruiting on behalf of a vibrant, inclusive, and forward-thinking secondary school based in the heart of the L25 community. The school is dedicated to providing an exceptional education for its students and fostering a collaborative working environment. They are now seeking an organized, proactive, and highly professional Personal Assistant to join their team and provide critical administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

The Role

As the PA to the SLT, you will be the central hub of the school's leadership operations. You will handle everything from managing complex diaries and filtering communications to coordinating high-profile school events. Key Responsibilities

  • Executive Support: Manage the daily schedules, emails, and diaries of the Headteacher and SLT, ensuring priorities are balanced and deadlines are met.
  • Communication Hub: Act as the first point of contact for parents, governors, external inspectors, and community partners with a warm, professional manner.
  • Meeting Coordination: Prepare agendas, collate briefing papers, attend meetings, and produce accurate, timely minutes.
  • Administration & Compliance: Maintain secure, confidential school records and ensure strict compliance with safeguarding and data protection (GDPR) regulations.
  • Event Management: Assist in coordinating school events such as Parents’ Evenings, Open Days, and Governor meetings.

  • Experience: Proven experience as a PA, Executive Assistant, or senior administrator. (Experience within an education setting is highly desirable but not essential).
  • Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, sharp attention to detail, and proficiency with the MS Office Suite. Experience with school management systems like SIMS or Arbor is a major advantage.
  • Communication: Brilliant written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with total discretion.
  • Attitude: A resilient, proactive "can-do" attitude with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
