Rate: £17.71 per hour

Hours: 10.5 hours per week, to be worked on Saturdays and Sundays (times to be agreed)

Contract: Permanent

Closing Date: 7th August 2026


Could you provide support with socialising to a cheerful person in the Ratby area?

Role Requirements

You will be required to provide support with:

  • personal care
  • shopping
  • keeping the environment clean and tidy
  • toileting
  • accessing the community
  • washing
  • cooking

You must have a full, clean UK driving licence and your own vehicle. The client will pay for fuel.

The client is registered blind, having total retinal detachment, due to a head trauma. They also have global development delay, a learning disability and epilepsy. When agitated or overwhelmed, they will pull their hair.

As the client is non-verbal, their needs must be anticipated (family will support with this). You must be clear with your communication.
