About this Role Salary: Grade 7 or 8 of Meridian Trust Support Staff payscale, Points 12 – 24 (FTE £28,598 - £35,412) Actual pro rata salary: Point 12: £25,193.74 to Point 24: £31,196.61 Salary will be paid at Grade 7 or Grade 8, dependent on experience and qualifications.
Hours per week: 37 hours (Mon-Thurs: 08.00-16.00, Fri: 08.00-15.30 – hours are non-negotiable)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Personal Assistant to the Principal to join the fantastic team at Sawtry Village Academy! If you are passionate about making a difference and contributing to the success of young lives thriving in education, this is the job for you. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking individual who possesses strong administration and communication skills to support our Principal, Simon Parsons. You will provide a solution-based outlook and work proactively to complete multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment.
The Opportunity: To join a strong, supportive and caring staff body where staff feel valued. Contributing valuable support to the smooth running of the school and success of the young people who attend Sawtry Village Academy.
The ideal candidate will: Have a good educational background, including GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths. Strong administration skills, including solution-based outlook for effective resolution of tasks. Ability to proactively contribute to multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Possess outstanding communication skills and personal integrity. Be able to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Be a team player, with a ‘can do’, solution focused, attitude.
