Your Mission

Turn the best thinking inside Affluent into content people actually want to read.

Every day, valuable conversations happen across our business—from client strategy sessions and creative reviews to founder discussions and internal debates.

We call it the Affluent Engine.

It's where ideas are challenged, insights are uncovered and lessons are learned. Your role is to capture those moments and turn them into compelling copy that builds authority, starts conversations and positions Affluent as one of the leading voices in DTC growth, creative strategy and performance marketing.

Sometimes you'll write for the Affluent brand. Sometimes you'll write in the voice of our founders. Either way, your job is to make sure our best ideas don't stay inside the business.

Why This Role Matters

The best agencies don't become recognised simply because they deliver great work.

They become recognised because they consistently share valuable ideas.

Every week, Affluent generates insights through client work, creative testing, performance marketing, workshops and internal discussions. Those conversations are one of our biggest competitive advantages.

This role exists to turn those insights into content that educates, builds trust and starts conversations.

By consistently sharing the expertise inside Affluent, you'll help strengthen our brand, attract ambitious ecommerce businesses and establish both the agency and its founders as recognised voices within the DTC space.

About Affluent

Affluent helps ambitious DTC brands scale through creative strategy, performance marketing and high-performing creative systems.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Our team has managed over £150 million in Meta ad spend, helping some of the fastest-growing ecommerce brands across the UK and internationally.

We're building a company that's known not only for the results we generate, but for the ideas we share.

This role will play a huge part in making that happen.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

Write Great Copy

  • Write content that educates, challenges opinions and builds authority for both Affluent and its founders.
  • This includes LinkedIn content, newsletters, website copy, case studies, emails, social content and thought leadership.

Turn the Affluent Engine into Content

  • The best ideas happen in strategy sessions, client conversations and internal debates.
  • You'll capture those insights and turn them into content that people actually want to read—transforming one conversation into multiple content assets across different channels.

Build Our Brand

  • Help position Affluent as one of the leading voices in DTC growth and performance marketing through consistent, high-quality content.
  • You'll also support our founders' personal brands by writing in their voice and helping share their thinking with the wider industry.

Improve How We Create Content

  • As we grow, you'll help build better systems for capturing, creating and distributing content.
  • You'll experiment with new workflows, AI and production processes that help us create more great content without compromising quality.

Success Looks Like

Within your first 12 months:

  • Affluent has a consistent and recognisable publishing rhythm.
  • Valuable insights are regularly captured rather than lost.
  • One conversation consistently becomes multiple pieces of content.
  • The agency's authority and visibility continue to grow.
  • Founder content feels authentic and true to their voice.
  • High-quality inbound opportunities are increasing.
  • A scalable content engine exists that doesn't rely on chasing ideas.
