About The Employer
My name is Chris, I have Cerebral Palsy as a long term condition, and I use a wheelchair on a daily basis to get around. I have a great sense of humour and love talking about life in general. I enjoy Classical music and love to visit the symphony hall, to listen to my favourite classical music at least once or twice a month. I am happy when my home is tidy and clean, and my items placed back in the right place. I also love to socialise, shop and enjoy eating out. I am looking for a Personal Assistant who has experience in caring for someone with a long term disability. Experience of using a hoist will be of advantage. My duties include personal care, preparation of food, general housekeeping, assisting out of bed and into bed morning and evening. I also need assistance with going out for example to the symphony hall concerts and medical appointments. Any further duties can be discussed at the interview. The person I am looking for should also have a sense of humour, love to socialise and also be trustworthy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
