The Role
One position available:
- 32.9 hours per week, term-time only
- Based at South West Skills campus, supporting Motor Vehicle and Construction learners
Proposed Working Pattern
- Monday and Tuesday: 08:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Wednesday and Thursday: 08:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Friday: 08:30 AM – 4:30 PM
What you’ll be doing
No two days are the same. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering group tutorial sessions on topics like digital wellbeing
- Helping students secure work placements and career opportunities
- Collaborating with curriculum teams and support staff
- Planning innovative enrichment activities to develop life skills in learners
You’ll be their trusted guide, ensuring every student feels motivated, supported, and ready for their next steps.

- Have experience working with young people or adults in an education or support setting
- Have an awareness of modern issues shaping learners’ lives and careers
- Understand the challenges students face progressing through education into work
