**Assistant Lawyer – Personal Injury (Multi-Track Accident Team) – Birmingham

Application Deadline

15 July 2026

Location

Birmingham

Compensation

£33,649 – £35,890 per year

About the Role

Ready to advance your personal injury career? We’re seeking a confident fee earner with experience in litigation — or those looking to develop their expertise within a high-performing, supportive team.

This Assistant Lawyer role in our Multi-Track Accident team is perfect if you thrive in a dynamic environment where you can:

  • Take ownership of claims while refining your technical skills
  • Work alongside experienced colleagues to progress complex cases
  • Enjoy structured support as your responsibilities grow

Initially, your caseload will focus on intermediate, non-issued matters, with clear progression to issued claims as your expertise develops.

Key Responsibilities

As a key team member, you’ll:

  • Support a varied caseload of multi-track personal injury claims, while managing your own growing list of cases
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients at every stage — instruction through to settlement
  • Gain exposure to the full lifecycle of claims, including non-issued and procedural work
  • Contribute to a fast-paced, client-focused environment with opportunities for growth
  • Document outcomes and complete updated statements of case as cases progress

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
