The Role
We are looking for a qualified personal Injury/Medical Negligence solicitor with at least 3 years experience. The role will involve handling a mixed caseload of personal injury work, as well as Medical Negligence work. You will be supported by the Head of Department and secretarial support.
Main purposes
- To undertake fee earning work and provide a profitable contribution to the work of the department.
- To ensure the successful development of the firm in line with the business plan.
- To provide excellent levels of client care.

Key tasks (not an exhaustive list)
- Conduct of matters on behalf of Clients.
- Periodic coverage of fee earning work undertaken by colleagues.
- Management of support services for which he is responsible, including supervision of own secretarial support.
- Participation in marketing activities whether on a firm wide, departmental or office basis.
- Financial control with particular regard to cash flow control through collection of monies on account and billing procedures.
- Effective file management to ensure efficient and timely communication to clients and resolution of matters.
