Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to assist the Personal Lines Management Team in ensuring the smooth operation of the MidWest Region, which includes working toward monthly and annual income targets across both new and existing business, overseeing the team's placement strategy, and providing key management information to the Management Team.
Location: Tipperary / Cork
Role Accountabilities and Core Responsibilities
Team Management
- Responsible for guiding and leading the team toward the achievement of Income Budget and other upsell/cross-sell targets set for the team.
- Ensure agreed processes are followed, whilst looking for ways to improve efficiencies.
- Manage team workload and performance to include the completion of 1-2-1’s and Performance Reviews.
- Follow up on implementation of the Performance Objectives of the team and identify training requirements for individual team members.
- Management of Dayforce for the team.
- Maintain an excellent teamwork ethic.
- Conduct regular team meetings.
- Build cross-collaboration with other departments
- Work closely with other Personal Lines Team Leads to ensure operational efficiency.

Sales & Activity Management
- Monitor and report on monthly income reports on an ongoing basis
- Ensure that each month is completed in a timely manner and reports/updates submitted on time to division management.
- Manage aged debt and premium collection.
- Comply with all management audit requirements.
- Undertake specific projects.
Provide Key Management Information
- The achievement of other upsell / cross-sell targets.
- Meet income retention
- Ensure capacity planning is in place and is adequate to meet the business's requirements
- Maintain use of existing SOP’s and work with Team to implement new SOP’s when required.
Team Collaboration
- Working as part of a team environment to ensure all customer needs are met.
- Working together to ensure the team is on track to meet monthly and yearly targets
- Ensuring the Customer Charter is being adhered to
Compliance
- Comply with all management audit requirements.
- Work with the Management Team and Compliance teams in ensuring that quality of file records meets prescribed standards

Requirements
- Demonstrate the ability to manage, lead and develop a team.
- Demonstrate strong technical & product knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Possess the ability to manage deadlines & prioritise workload and adapt to unforeseen events
- A good degree of personal organisation and a structured approach to time and resource management
- Comply with the Central Bank’s Minimum Competency Requirements
Person Specification
- CIP Qualified or Previous experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor
- Proficient in Relay and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word & Excel.
- Ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn & develop.
- Strong work ethic.
- Possess a can-do attitude and be open to rapid and evolving changes as our digital journey progresses
