Key Accountabilities

This role is based on oversight of personal tax return preparation and review, team management, and ensuring full compliance with UK tax regulations. You will join a newly formed collaborative team, where you evaluate tax computations while upholding our high standards of quality and efficiency. By leveraging advanced technology, you’ll streamline processes and improve accuracy.

Through technical expertise and innovative leadership, you’ll shape Azets’ future in smart, efficient, and personalised tax solutions. This role ensures we maintain our reputation for excellent service while embracing automation and digital transformation.

Day-to-Day Duties

  • Lead, manage, and motivate team members to fulfil objectives aligned with business strategy
  • Monitor team performance against KPIs, addressing improvement areas for sustained excellence
  • Conduct detailed quality reviews, resolve escalations efficiently, and ensure compliance adherence
  • Serve as a second-line client contact, providing tailored solutions to complex challenges and enriching satisfaction
  • Identify opportunities for value-added advisory services and collaborate with teams to drive business growth
  • Guarantee team adherence to technical, quality, and risk frameworks, exceeding client expectations

Requirements

Professional Qualifications & Experience

A favoured candidate will hold:

  • Accountancy/tax qualification (e.g., ATT/CTA/ACA/ACCA/CA)
  • Experiential qualifications acknowledged as equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of technical and professional standards, supporting colleagues and clients
