Personal Tax Assistant Manager (Part Time)

North Cambridge, Hybrid Working, £55,000-£65,000 FTE (Pro Rata)

What you'll be doing

  • Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, including high net worth individuals, trusts and estates
  • Reviewing personal tax returns and ensuring deadlines are consistently achieved
  • Supporting clients on capital gains tax, inheritance tax and succession planning matters
  • Acting as the day-to-day contact for your clients and building long-term relationships
  • Working closely with Partners on advisory projects and more complex tax planning assignments
  • Coaching and supporting junior members of the team where appropriate

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience within personal tax gained in an accountancy practice
  • ATT and/or CTA qualified, or qualified by experience
  • Comfortable managing your own client portfolio
  • Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
  • Someone looking for a part-time opportunity without compromising on the quality of their work or long-term career prospects
