Are you a Tax Assistant Manager or Manager seeking an entrepreneurial, progressive and supportive environment within a growing accountancy practice? Do you enjoy working with a diverse client base, developing your technical expertise, and taking on increasing responsibility?

The Personal Tax team advises a broad portfolio of clients including:
- Ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth individuals
- Private equity professionals
- Owner-managed businesses
- Entrepreneurs and start-ups
- Partnerships and family groups
- Internationally mobile individuals
- Trusts and estates
This role offers a blend of:
- Compliance
- Advisory
- Client relationship management responsibilities, with opportunities to work on technically interesting assignments and support the development of junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of assignments and manage a portfolio of clients.
- Provide technical support across personal tax matters, including Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and residence issues.
- Manage compliance requirements and respond to client queries.
- Assist with advisory and consultancy projects.
- Support compliance work relating to EIS/SEIS, EMI schemes, employment-related securities, and annual reporting requirements.
- Prepare complex personal tax returns and ensure compliance with current legislation.
- Monitor tax payment deadlines and ensure obligations are met.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication.
- Liaise with clients, HMRC, and third parties on a broad range of personal and business tax matters.
- Support and mentor junior team members.
- Act as a point of contact for tax queries from colleagues across the wider business.
- Undertake technical research and contribute to advisory projects.

- Confident user of relevant technology and software.
Qualifications & Experience
- ATT and/or CTA qualified, or qualified by experience.
- Strong personal tax experience gained within a professional services environment.
- Experience managing client relationships and delivering high levels of service.
- Exposure to expatriate tax matters would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Strong academic background preferred.
