Hybrid Working | Progression to Senior Manager
Looking for a Personal Tax role where you'll have the autonomy to manage your own portfolio, the support of an experienced team, and genuine opportunities to progress?
We're working with a highly respected mid-tier accountancy practice in High Wycombe that's continuing to grow and invest in its people. With an outstanding reputation, a collaborative culture, and a diverse client base, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Personal Tax professional looking for a long-term move.
The Role
You'll manage a varied portfolio of private clients while working closely with Partners on a mixture of compliance and advisory projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of HNWIs, directors, business owners and trusts
- Reviewing personal tax returns and ensuring compliance deadlines are met
- Providing tax planning and advisory support across a range of personal tax matters
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients and building long-term relationships
- Supporting and reviewing the work of junior members of the tax team
- Liaising with HMRC and resolving technical queries
- Working closely with Partners on more complex advisory projects as your role develops

What We're Looking For
- Previous UK accountancy practice experience within Personal Tax
- CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified is desirable, although qualified by experience candidates will also be considered
- Strong technical knowledge of UK Personal Tax
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
- Experience managing client relationships and reviewing work would be advantageous
