Personal Tax Senior – Market Leading Accountancy Practice in Medway
TPF Recruitment is supporting a well-established accountancy practice in Medway seeking to recruit a Personal Tax Senior within their successful tax team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a leading accountancy practice as part of a successful tax team. You will have a personal tax bias, but this role also offers the flexibility to engage in mixed tax capacities if of interest.

- You will support a diverse range of clients, including Directors, Sole Traders, Partnerships, and HNWIs.

Responsibilities
As a Personal Tax Senior, you will handle:
- A mixed portfolio of personal tax compliance and advisory services, including:
- Personal tax returns
- Partnership tax returns
- Trust tax returns
- ERS returns
- ATED (Annual Tax on Enveloped Dwellings)
- P11D/PSA returns
- Direct liaison with HMRC and clients for enquiries, disclosures, and resolutions.
- Addressing any tax-related queries that arise.
- Opportunities to engage in tax planning, IHT (Inheritance Tax), and advisory work.
- Overseeing an interesting client portfolio.
- Potential to get involved in corporate tax work (if you have relevant interest/experience).

Requirements
- 3+ years (preferably 2-5+ years) of experience within an accountancy practice.
- Exposure to tax return preparation in a structured practice setting.
- Chartered or part-qualified status (or studying), with preference for qualifications such as:
- AAT, ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA (qualified, in progress, or near completion).
Benefits
- Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience/qualifications), negotiable.
