Personal Tax Senior
Job Opportunity: Personal Tax Semi-Senior or Senior
An established and growing independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Reading is looking to recruit a Personal Tax Semi-Senior or Senior to strengthen its expanding private client team. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly, close-knit firm with a strong local presence and a reputation for delivering both reliable compliance services and personalized tax advice.
The firm works closely with a varied client base including high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and company directors, with a strong focus on building long-term client relationships.
As a Personal Tax Senior, you’ll be responsible for your own portfolio of private clients, including HNWIs, SME directors, and partnerships. You'll work across both compliance and advisory matters, supported by a knowledgeable and approachable tax team.

Responsibilities
- Managing personal tax returns and compliance work from start to finish
- Providing tailored tax advice and planning solutions
- Getting involved in ad hoc project work and client development
- Assisting with mentoring and supporting junior staff
Requirements
- Qualified ATT, ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified
- Solid experience in personal tax within a practice environment
- Background in an independent, boutique, or mid-sized firm preferred
- Able to manage compliance work with minimal supervision
- Enthusiastic about private client tax and committed to long-term development
Benefits
- Salary: £40,000 – £48,000 depending on experience and qualifications
- Study support for CTA if required
