Personal Trainer

Personal Trainer – Birmingham Central FWC

Fitness | Permanent contract | Part time

Salary: From £29,045.12 up to £39,241.28 OTE pro rata Hours per week: 12

About the Role

As a Personal Trainer at our gym, you’ll need to be confident, outgoing, and approachable. Whether you’re well-established in the industry or just starting, you must hold one of the following qualifications:

  • Level 3 Personal Trainer certification (REPS)
  • CIMSPA Practitioner status (or above)

Natural communication is key – you’ll excel in listening, understanding, and explaining fitness solutions clearly and effectively.

This part-time role (12 hours per week) includes gym floor hours, ensuring you’re well-supported to expand your Personal Training hours beyond this commitment.

Duties & Responsibilities

As a Personal Trainer, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Gaining full access to Nuffield Health’s comprehensive wellness services
  • Connecting with and motivating members to achieve their fitness goals and sustain a healthier lifestyle
  • Delivering confidence-backed sessions, including consultations, inductions, and various training formats
  • Executing high-quality inductions, Personal Best programmes, group coaching, personal training sessions, and standard gym operations

Requirements

  • Essential:
    • Qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer certification
    • Current CIMSPA membership at Personal Trainer Practitioner level (failure to provide proof will prevent application progression until requirements are met)
  • Desirable:
    • Motivation to build personal training clients
    • Experience in fitness training, communication, and mentoring
    • Eagerness to develop expertise in group fitness, consultations, and client retention
