Maxwellness is more than a gym.
We’re building a premium holistic health studio that combines elite coaching, strength training, recovery, nutrition and community under one roof.
Our mission is to help people unlock their full potential through movement, discipline and an evolutionarily consistent approach to health.
Our facility includes:
- Premium personal training studio
- Small group coaching
- Sauna & ice bath recovery
- Whole-food café & speciality coffee
- Mobility and performance coaching
This is the beginning of a much bigger vision, with plans to expand Maxwellness into multiple locations across London and beyond.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for an exceptional self-employed Personal Trainer to become part of the Maxwellness team.
This isn’t just someone to rent space.
We’re looking for someone who wants to help build one of London’s best personal training studios.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Deliver high-quality 1-1 and small group coaching
- Cover coaching hours when required
- Take consultations with new enquiries
- Convert consultations into long-term coaching packages
- Build your own client base within the studio
- Work alongside our café and recovery facilities to deliver a premium client experience

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Deliver exceptional coaching sessions
- Design personalised training programmes
- Track client progress and results
- Conduct consultations with prospective members
- Confidently close personal training packages
- Provide outstanding customer service from first enquiry to long-term retention
- Maintain a clean, professional coaching environment
- Wear Maxwellness uniform during all coaching hours
- Represent the Maxwellness brand professionally both inside and outside the studio
- Support studio events and community initiatives
- Help create an environment clients genuinely look forward to visiting
Who We’re Looking For
You are someone who:
- Lives and breathes health and fitness
- Has excellent coaching ability
- Is confident selling coaching because you genuinely believe in your service
- Takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do
- Has high standards and attention to detail
- Is punctual, reliable and professional
- Enjoys building relationships with clients
- Wants to grow alongside an ambitious business
- Is passionate about continuous learning

Essential Requirements
- Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification (or equivalent)
- Valid First Aid & CPR certification
- Self-employed
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong understanding of strength training and movement
- Comfortable coaching clients of all abilities
Desirable
- Experience with mobility, calisthenics or athletic performance
- Nutrition knowledge
- Experience running consultations and converting leads
- Content creation and social media experience
- Experience with recovery modalities such as sauna and cold exposure
