Role Description
The Personal Trainer role is a full-time, on-site position based at Diverse Gym & Physio in Preston. The Personal Trainer will design and deliver safe, effective, and personalized fitness programs using the gym’s cardio, resistance, strength, and functional training zones. - Conducting one-on-one and small group training sessions
- Demonstrating correct exercise techniques
- Monitoring client progress
- Adjusting programs as needed

The Personal Trainer will provide guidance on healthy lifestyle habits, support members during classes and floor workouts, and collaborate with the wider team to maintain a welcoming, professional environment. The role also involves:
- Engaging with members to encourage retention
- Promoting gym services
- Ensuring equipment is used responsibly and safely
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Personal Training and Fitness Instruction, with the ability to create tailored training plans.
- Experience in Circuit Training and Sports Coaching to support varied group and individual training needs.
- Knowledge of Nutrition to provide general guidance that complements clients’ fitness goals.
- Recognized fitness qualification (e.g., Level 3 Personal Trainer or equivalent) and up-to-date professional certifications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support a diverse member base.
- Proven ability to work safely, uphold health and safety standards, and maintain accurate client records.
- Previous experience in a gym or sports performance environment is beneficial.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
