Pest Control Officer - OSS156

Band F (SCP 12 - 19) £28,598 - £32,061 per annum (pay award depending)

Permanent, 37 hours per week

About The Role

To undertake Pest Control duties and associated services to residents, and operators of commercial businesses within specified districts. To undertake the eradication of rats, mice and other pests and vermin in a safe manner and fumigation and disinfestation of filthy and/or verminous premises and articles. Keep accurate and detailed records of premises, visits and types of treatments carried out.

About You

We’re looking for a reliable, practical suitably qualified person to join our team of pest control technicians. If you like variety in your work, enjoy solving problems, and want to be part of a friendly, supportive team, this job could be for you.

  • RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a pest control role or in training
  • Full valid UK driving licence
  • A confident communicator with good organisational skills
  • A professional, customer-focused approach and the ability to work independently.
