About the Role
Ecolab is seeking a Senior Pest Technician to join its industry-leading Pest Elimination team. In this position, you will provide timely and cost-effective pest detection, elimination, and prevention solutions to an established route of commercial customers. Your role includes brand protection for around-the-clock clients such as:
- Restaurants
- Hotels
- Hospitals
- Nursing homes
- Schools
- Retail stores
- Food and beverage processing plants

What You Will Do
- Assist the District Manager with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks.
- Lead, coach, and support a team of technicians.
- Onboard and train new team members to ensure high service standards.
- Conduct Quality audits and Field accompaniment reviews to evaluate performance.
- Present at Service Excellence meetings to drive continuous improvement.
- Build strong customer relationships – Partner with clients to identify and resolve pest-related issues.
- Stay updated on Ecolab’s product/service offerings and industry trends to enhance sales and service.
- Leverage Apple technology to manage service notes, document sanitation, structural, and pest issues.
- Deliver exceptional service – Conduct high-quality inspections and treatments to exceed customer expectations.
- Provide written evidence of services delivered and offer pest prevention advice.
- Apply pesticides strictly according to label recommendations and comply with relevant legislation.
- Plan efficient work routes to maintain 100% service attendance.
- Submit accurate reports and paperwork on time.

Position Requirements
- RSPH Level 2 qualification (essential).
- Ability to work out-of-hours when needed (including weekends/evenings).
- Experience handling diverse commercial environments (e.g., hotels, hospitals, food processing).
- Willingness to travel – Either via company van or prepaid travel card.

Salary & Benfits
- Salary up to £30,000 (dependent on experience).
- London Weighting Allowance – £1,750 if residing in the M25 area.
- Investment in your training and qualifications.
- 25 days holiday + 8 days Bank Holiday entitlement.
