DetailBuitelaar Group Overview

With five generations of experience behind us, we pride ourselves on being experts in bringing premium raw materials to both domestic and international pet food industries. Our focus is putting the customer first, delivering superior products alongside exceptional service. There is no surprise we’ve won many awards in recognition for our continual commitments in the meat and pet food industry. Truly placing us as the partner of choice for both customers and suppliers. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Pet Treats Sales Manager to join our growing Commercial Team in Harrogate.

The Role of Pet Treats Sales Manager

This is an exhilarating, commercially focussed Sales Manager opportunity. Reporting into our Head of Business Unit, you will have full responsibility for developing your own portfolio of treat customers within our branded, own label and bulk ranges. The role will be focused on developing and growing sales across all treat categories. You will work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to develop supply chains, and deliver profitable growth. You’ll work collaboratively with the wider Buitelaar team to ensure customers expectations are met at all times.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
